Generals Zero Hour takes place one year after the events of Command & Conquer Generals (previously known as Command & Conquer: Generals), and one year before the events of Command & Conquer Zero Hour (previously known as Command & Conquer: Generals Zero Hour). Set in the near future, Commander Turner leads an elite military unit into a world in which technology has advanced to the point where machines can now emulate many human characteristics, and armed conflicts have spread across a world transformed into a stark contrast between mankind and machine. Taking the fight to the far corners of the Earth, players are in command of armies of all nationalities and combat units including infantry, air units, tanks, and specialized vehicles.
